I installed OpenLP 1.9.2 from the Lucid (10.04) repositories in Maverick (10.10) in order to try it out. The program installs and runs, but I cannot use the import wizard successfully for songs or Bibles.

When choosing to import songs, I click on the <Add Files...> button and nothing happens.

When choosing to import Bibles, I choose a format to import from, then click the icon to find the file and select it to import. Then, on the License details page of the wizard, I enter the information in the boxes. On the next screen, it tells me that it is importing the Bible, but the progress bar is hung at 0% progress. If I choose Web Download as the source, then choose the Bible to download, it still hangs on the 'Importing' screen of the wizard at 0% progress.

Yes, I realize Ubuntu 10.10 is still in beta, as is OpenLP. That makes for dozens of variables, not including the fact that I installed from a previous version repository, because there is not one for Maverick yet! Good thing this isn't a production computer. However, If anyone can help me get it working, I would appreciate it.

The computer at our church has Lucid installed, and we are currently using OpenSong for our projector. If I could get OpenLP to work, I would like to switch, because it has some more advanced features that I would like to take advantage of.
