Due to the need, I have vibe coded a python script to sync OpenLP and vMix.

The Idea is simple:

I need multiple display outputs from the same source. This script fetches the lyrics text from the OpenLP API and inputs it into a vMix text input. This allows us to have LowerThirds and Full Screen with the same lyrics coming from OpenLP.

All works well, but I have 1 feature request:

Ability to turn of the screen, as I don't need it anymore. OpenLP doesn't allow me to uncheck "Use this screen as a display," when I have only 1 Screen connected. I would appreciate if there would be a way to uncheck that one.

🖥️ OpenLP ➜ vMix Slide Sync Tool

This tool automatically sends slides from OpenLP to vMix title inputs in real-time.

It supports multiple OpenLP connections, each with their own vMix inputs and fields, making it perfect for multi-language or multi-screen workflows.

✨ What it does

Detects the currently selected slide in OpenLP.
Sends that slide text to one or more vMix inputs.
Updates the selected text field(s) on the vMix titles live.
Supports multiple setups at the same time (e.g., for different rooms, screens, or languages).

🧑‍💻 How to use it

1. Open the Script

Run the file: OpenLP2vMixMultiApp.py
A window will open showing connection fields.

2. Add a Connection

Click "+ Add Connection" and fill in the following:

| OpenLP IP | The IP address of the OpenLP computer (usually localhost or 192.168.x.x) |
| HTTP Port | Usually 4316 (default OpenLP port) |
| WebSocket Port | Usually 4317 |
| vMix API URL | Usually http://localhost:8088/api or use the vMix PC's IP |
| vMix Inputs & Fields | JSON like: {"OpenLPSlides": "Message.Text"} |

💡 You can add multiple connections (e.g., different OpenLP machines or different vMix titles) and they will all run at once.
